Clean a pasted list while preserving its order
Remove duplicate lines, choose matching rules and join wrapped text without accidentally sorting your list.

Decide what one item means
Paste one complete item per line. This workflow suits keyword exports, simple identifiers, email subjects and copied checklists. A CSV record with quoted line breaks is not a simple line list; use CSV to JSON when records have multiple fields or span several lines.
Keep the original text until you have checked the result. Order may express priority or chronology, so decide whether sorting is desirable before changing it.

Choose the duplicate matching rule
Trim each line removes surrounding whitespace before both matching and output. Turn it off for logs or data where spaces are meaningful. Ignore case considers apple and Apple equivalent but retains the first spelling.
The remover keeps the first occurrence in its original position. Empty normalized lines are removed, and the count includes those blanks. Without case folding, the example produces apple, banana and Apple; with case folding it produces only apple and banana.

Repair wrapped paragraphs separately
PDF text may contain visual line wraps within a sentence. Use Remove line breaks with Preserve paragraphs enabled to replace single line endings with spaces while retaining blank-line paragraph separators.
Joining cannot infer columns, recover missing spaces or remove hyphenation safely. Review the pasted reading order first. Every line-operation button reads the input rather than chaining automatically; paste a checked result back into the input when you deliberately want another step.

Sort only when the destination needs it
Alphabetical sorting can make a reference list easier to scan, but it discards the original sequence. Natural-number mode places item2 before item10, while a lexicographic sort compares digit characters. Choose case and whitespace options explicitly for consistent results.
If the source is HTML, first extract plain text with the line-break and link options you need. Compare the final line count, first occurrences and paragraph boundaries before replacing the original list.
